Chile produces world class wines and to the south east of Santiago in the Maipo valley are some of the best vineyards in the country. Taking a tour of one of the vineyards allows you to see how the wine is grown as well as sampling some of the local produce. Tours are offered by many of the vineyards, including the Viña Cousiño Macul, the Viña Concha y Toro and the Viña Undurraga, all of which are easily reached from Santiago.
