The journey begins in Cusco, setting off for Puno, on the shore of Lake Titicaca, in the morning. Pass the day-long journey moving between the glass-walled observation carriage and the relaxing lounge carriage, where passengers have access to the open bar. There is an excursion to the Inca site of Raqchi, after lunch, before continuing on to Puno, where you spend the night beside Lake Titicaca.

The second day begins with breakfast in the dining carriage, followed by a full day excursion on Lake Titicaca. In the afternoon, passengers return to the train, which then sets off for Arequipa, travelling until the late evening. The final day on the train is interrupted by a visit to Sumbay Caves, before pulling into Arequipa in the afternoon.

The train journey includes all meals, the majority of which are enjoyed in the sophisticated on-board dining carriages. Excursions to various sites on and around the iconic Lake Titicaca are also included as part of the package.

This is a great alternative way to experience some of Peru’s beautiful scenery while enjoying the service on board the luxury train.
