A fantastic holiday in an amazing country. The itinerary was very full on, but worth the effort. Amazing architecture, a good combination of ancient and modern. Delicious local cuisine, fascinating history, and very friendly local people. Our guide was very good, very knowledgeable, friendly and personable. In summary: an interesting, informative, and life-affirming holiday.
A fabulous African experience. No issues, and all travel and accommodation were excellent. Namibia was stunning; a vast wilderness, friendly people, and the tour educated us on Namibia's past, present & its future.

This was the best safari I have ever done and I have travelled & worked in Southern Africa over many years. It exceeded all expectations and every day was a surprise, there was never a boring moment. The wildlife & birds were fantastic, we recorded 126 bird species on the trip & had wildlife wandering through our camps! It does not get better than this!

This trip was all we hoped for, and so much more. It felt like being on the set of a David Attenborough programme! The attention to detail by Llama Travel from start to finish could not be faulted. The drivers and hotel staff were welcoming and professional. We learnt a great deal about the incredible wildlife, the culture and history of Costa Rica, the politics, the agriculture, the weather and everything else! The excursions were fascinating and well worth doing, but it was also lovely to have downtime by the pool. Thank you so much!

This was a superb trip made better by our wonderful driver & guide, who was most professional and extremely knowledgeable. He was a courteous driver to us and the animals. All the accommodation was good—everyone we met associated with the hotels were friendly, courteous and helpful. The in-destination reps were very professional, and ensured that all transfers from landing to departure were fully supported. As always, we would recommend Llama Travel to others and hope to travel with them again.
Our trip to Peru, including the incredible experience of visiting Machu Picchu, was truly the trip of a lifetime—and Llama Travel made the whole experience completely stress-free. It was quite a complicated trip to organise, with 8 flights, specific tickets for Machu Picchu, train journeys, private transfers and guided tours. Everything was so incredibly slick and well-organised that we barely noticed all of the work that must have gone on behind the scenes. We simply arrived at each destination knowing that everything had been taken care of. The private transfers and guides were fantastic, and we always felt completely looked after. A very special mention must go to our guide, who was absolutely exceptional. From the moment we met her in Cusco, she took the time to get to know us, which made a difference to our experience. She was passionate about Peru and its history, incredibly knowledgeable, and a real skill for adapting what she shared with us to suit our interests and personalities. It never felt like we were simply being given a rehearsed tour—she genuinely connected with us and brought the history to life. She was also brilliant at getting us up to Machu Picchu! The hike was challenging, but our guide was encouraging, supportive and somehow managed to keep us going when our legs were telling us otherwise! Her enthusiasm and warm made the whole experience even more memorable. Llama Travel took all the stress out of what could have been a complicated journey and allowed us to simply enjoy every moment. An incredible company, an unforgettable trip and memories we will treasure. I've recommended Llama Travel to all my friends.
All the research I had done said that July or August wasn't a great time to visit Mexico because of the weather, but it was honestly great! Mexican food was so varied & delicious. Save space for all your souvenirs—we brought back 9 bags of coffee!
