Sighișoara

One of Europe’s oldest and best-preserved medieval citadels, the UNESCO-listed town of Sighișoara is well-known for its walled old town and meandering cobbled streets. The town is famed for its bold colour hues, with buildings decorated in contrasting bright blues, pinks, oranges, yellows and greens. This makes a striking contrast to other more conservative and traditional towns visited on the tour. The town offers yet more colourful history being the birthplace of Vlad the Impaler. The 14^th century Clock Tower offers incredible panoramic views across the town and the surrounding landscape and should not be missed.
